Madison artist Float first picked up the can in Amsterdam to do his first Graffiti pieces. Now he’s on the other side of the fence and turned to mixed media of all types. Floats art combines strong colors, distinct contrast and iconography all inspired by his love for street art.
Float’s art table can be found all sorts of places, from the Huntsville Library, a variety of pop conventions and holiday markets around the valley. We talk to Float about his journey from street art to adapting his style to find a place inside the buildings he used to tag.
Be sure to drop by Float’s art table at the Rocket City Lit Fest October 10 and 11th, NerdCon October 24 and 25th and the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Expo November 20th through the 22nd.
